How Will the FAA/EPA/NASA Explain Black and Brown Contrails When Scientists Have Always Described Them as “White”?

Jet contrails have always been described by NASA, NOAA and EPA as white lines in the sky but many observers are documenting black, brown and “dirty colored” emissions that defy the scientific description of contrails as white “ice crystals”.

The frequency of black and “dirty contrails” is increasing as northern latitudes have experienced a brutal winter freeze.  All this just as climate scientists are finally admitting earth temperatures could drop, “perhaps for as many as 50 years” as a result of the Grand Solar Minimum (GSM).  If the “science is settled”, how did the IPCC models fail to consider the consequences of global cooling even as the GSM was underway with the “fastest decline in solar activity in 9,300 years”.

We can expect the geoengineers to work with the IPCC warmists to minimize the consequences of up to 50 years of global cooling with propaganda and untested climate models. We can also expect an increase in black contrails and reverse-geoengineering strategies to delay the effects of the coming mini ice-age in order to lock-in a global carbon tax.

Look for the geoengineers to dismiss global cooling as a minimal and temporary fluke while continuing to promote polluting the skies as an uncontrolled experiment they claim cannot be stopped for over a hundred years.  This dangerous “climate hostage” scenario allows global corporations and elitist UN policy-makers to take full control of the earth’s atmosphere and environment without regulation, oversight or public comment.

The increasing appearance of  black, brown and “dirty” contrails has been ignored by NASA, NOAA , EPA and the IPCC.

The agencies charged with oversight and testing of the atmosphere have abandoned their duty to publish a warning on this environmental pollution. Meanwhile, lazy corporate media ignores clear evidence of the black contrail environmental pollution while they continue to denigrate documented evidence of unusual aircraft emissions as a “conspiracy theory”.

  2. Contrail Ice Crystals Have Always Been Described as White because that is what they are. There are no black crystals.

    The “dirty” contrails are exactly that. They result from the incomplete combustion of the carbonaceous component of the jet fuel.
    This is leads us to the important distinction to be made between black carbon (soot) and the mineralised components attached to it and left behind with complete combustion (ash).

    Soot is an inefficient nucleator for cirrus clouds, being hydrophobic and usually requires a sulphate coating. Sulphates are also inefficient nucleators at cirrus cloud levels.

    Ash is an extremely efficient nucleator.

    When the High Bypass Turbofans were brought in that combusted fuel more efficiently, the “dirty” contrails began to disappear. As a result of this more ash would have been generated leading to the formation of the “white contrails”, the “white” being the ice crystals that were entrained on to the ash particles.
    The exhaust of products of the jet fuel were, of course radically supplemented with fly ash added to the fuel itself and/or sprayed from nozzles inside the bypass ducts.

    Paradoxically, cirrus clouds need to be cold to effectively trap the infra-red radiation below and warm the surface of the earth.

    Soot deliberately dispersed at those levels would have the opposite effect, they would absorb sunlight and warm the upper atmosphere which would be detrimental to the formation of cirrus clouds and actually have a cooling effect below on the surface. This was recognised by William Gray who stated that black carbon was hydrophobic and came to the conclusion that it would better be dispersed from ground based dispensers such as petroleum plumes that would reach the ground, if the desired result were to be a surface warming.

    The increasing appearance of black, brown and “dirty” contrails, ignored by NASA, NOAA , EPA and the IPCC has nothing to do with the warming (yes warming not cooling) of the past 50 years but may have something to do with the recent “brutal freeze” but ice nucleation is likely to have played a greater role.

    The Grand Solar Minimum began around 2015 not 50 years ago, which was also when the Paris Climate Conference took place with it`s curious agreed limit of +2°C to be placed on global temperatures.

    I`m willing to bet that +2°C is close to or greater than the decrease in temperatures we can expect from the Maunder Minimum.
    Indeed, this may be have been the greatest impetus for the clandestine climate campaign initiated in the 70’s to warm the planet. The scientists most probably recognised the coming ice age around 2015 and decided to prepare for it, around 40 years being required to build up the necessary heat to melt the Arctic ice. Such schemes as darkening the Arctic ice with soot and modifying cloud cover were proposed.

    Lo and behold, that is exactly what has occurred.

    • A distinction between “warming the climate” and warming “surface temps”?

      Reviewing the videos we see the black contrails are mostly released over clear air space where no cirrus exists…or would likely develop.

      Anyone who takes time to review the history of attempts to warm the climate for military and maritime advantage will find the current spraying operations are consistent with those geoengineering agendas.

      Post-glacial warming has always been destined to occur even if mankind was extinct.

  3. As I stated, black carbon was found to be far more effective when dispersed lower down onto the ice, it doesn’t, work well in forming the artificial clouds. The melting of the arctic ice is all important in the warming geoengineering agenda as any logical review of the literature will reveal.
    If black trails are being deployed where there are no cirrus clouds, they are being deployed to keep things that way.

    What purpose would black contrails serve when the white contrails were already warming the planet and for much longer with far greater frequency than dirty contrails. And of course there is a distinction between upper atmosphere and surface warming. That’s why the stratosphere can be cooling while the troposphere is warming.
    The occurrence of natural post glacial warming in the far future has nothing whatsoever to do with the current operations.

  4. It is even evident in the patent you quote. Black carbon is emitted to nullify the vapour trail because it is hydrophobic. Yes, it has a warming impact but not as great as cirrus clouds. Thus knocking out cirrus will have an overall cooling effect.
