In 1974 Polar Vortex Freeze Blamed on Arctic Cooling 3

Solar vortex and arctic cooling

“The main temperature change seems to be in the summer where mean arctic temperatures have dropped 0.5 dec C. (nearly 1 deg F.) giving an increased pole to equator gradient of 0.1 deg C. ( almost 0.8 deg F) per 1000 kilometers. This would, according to the theory, lower the latitude of the sub-tropic high by more than 30 miles.”  (Professor Reid A. Bryson of the University of Wisconsin at Madison –  ANNEX II Page 4, PDF Page 59)

  2. Would it be possible to also create “the standing wave” we seem to be experiencing in the Western US by using and directing long term HAARP energy in the region say between Hawaii and Canada? Wouldn’t this cause a standing wave?

    • Nothing is absolute but a SW could be generated with enough effect to dry out California as has been the case for year 2013.
